God’s Purpose for His Service

Ephesians 4:10-13 says, The one who went down is none other than the one who went up above all the

heavens to fill all things. And to some, his ‘gift’ was that they should be apostles; to some, evangelists; to

some, pastors and teachers; to knit God’s holy people together for the work of service to build up the Body

of Christ, until we all reach unity in faith and knowledge of the son of God and form the perfect man fully

mature with the fullness of Christ himself. In other words, we all have gifts, but they are only activated

when we are called by GOD the Father to be used by HIS son The Christ to perform those gifts as part of

His Body. In layman’s terms, there is no greater gift or lesser gift, because the Body only works if we are

equally doing our part. I say this because I have encountered individuals who believe what they are doing

is greater than what others are doing, and they cannot learn from the least of us. They forget that, if GOD

can speak through a donkey and a burning bush, HE can speak through anything. When you cannot

accept that, this is called arrogance and pride. Proverbs 8:12-13 says that I, Wisdom, share house with

Discretion (Which is a Spirit), I am mistress of the art of thought. (Fear of Yahweh means hatred of evil.) I

hate pride and arrogance, wicked behavior and a lying mouth. What Wisdom is insinuating is that pride

and arrogance may lead to wicked behavior and a lying mouth. If you know a prideful and arrogant

person, you have seen them do many things wrong to make themselves and others believe that they are

right. Luke 14:11 Christ says, For everyone who raises himself up will be humbled, and the one who

humbles himself will be raised up

To use myself as an example: I teach, and I was called by GOD the Father to be used by Christ. Christ

then activated my gift for teaching, which is what He wanted me to do for His Body. Like all of you, I have

more than one gift that can be activated by Christ at any time, but for His daily purpose I teach. Because I

am a Teacher, I must adhere to the rules of my calling just as those of you who are called must adhere to

the rules of your calling. I never try to test anyone to find out how much they know or whether they are

called, because I do not know the answer to that question, only GOD Knows. Whether a person is truly

called or pretending to be call is not my responsibility, that belongs to GOD, and HE Will always reveal

the truth. When we allow GOD to do HIS Job through HIS Spirit of Truth then and only then we can

fulfill what Ephesians 4:14-16 says, Then we shall no longer be children, or tossed one way and another,

and carried hither and thither by every new gust of teaching, at the mercy of all the tricks people play and

their unscrupulousness in deliberate deception. If we live by the truth and in love, we shall grow

completely into Christ, who is the head by whom the whole Body is fitted and joined together, every joint

adding its own strength, for each individual part to work according to its function. So the body grows until

it has built itself up in love. May GOD be a Blessing to those who read and believe HIS Words.
